First Annual Toys For Tots FPV Drone Race. If you are an active member of the SEFSD flying club, your donation of a $10 or more unwrapped toy gets you entered in to an exciting day of FPV Drone racing with the Good Times FPV racing crew. Non-Members can also join in the fun with $10 or more unwrapped toy donation + $10 donation fee which goes to the Silent Electric Flyers of San Diego. This is an AMA flying field, you must have an AMA membership to join.

SCHEDULE
Expect a minimum of 2 rounds each for Practice and Qualifying. This may be extended depending on how fast the program runs.
8:00 am – Open practice
9:00 am – Check-in and Tech
10:00 am – Practice/Qualifying/Mains
RACE FORMAT
Practice – 2 Minute Heats – 6 pilots max – Staggered start – Staged practice, you will be assigned a frequency
Qualifying – 2 Minute Heats – 6 pilots max – Staggered start – Your fastest heat determines Main seeding
Main – 2 Minute Heat – 6 pilots max – Shotgun Start – *Single bump-up
*If you are in the C-Main and win, you bump up to the B-Main. Win again and you bump up to the A-Main.
FREQUENCY
This is a 25mw event and antenna polarity will be observed. Please have LHCP and RHCP antennas on-hand because your channel may change.
